This course aims to enable students to master the basic knowledge and theory of seismic resistance and isolation of structures, including basic knowledge of earthquake resistance, basic methods of earthquake resistance, and how to use seismic resistance knowledge to conduct seismic design of concrete structures, especially bridge structures, so as to achieve the purpose of disaster prevention and reduction. It is important to master the basic knowledge and concept of earthquake resistance, calculation method of earthquake load, seismic design method of concrete structure, seismic design and evaluation of bridge structure. This course requires students to master the basic knowledge and skills of seismic and isolation methods theoretically and analyze and solve some practical problems. The study of this course lays a good foundation for further research in related majors.
