The purpose of this course is to require students to master systematically the theory and method of optimal design and dispatch of water supply and drainage pipeline system. This course introduces systematically the tasks and contents of water supply and drainage network design and management; and theory and method of hydraulic calculation for water supply and drainage network; and content, steps and optimization theory of water supply and drainage network system planning and design; and the function, composition, structure and optimal scheduling theory of GIS and SCADA. The aims are to cultivate students' ability to engage in the research and technical development of water supply and drainage pipeline system, and to improve students' ability to analyze and solve practical engineering problems such as the design and optimization of water supply and drainage pipeline system
