Prof. Hanqing Wang, Ph. D., was born in 1963. He is a doctorial supervisor of Central South University, University of South China, and Hunan University of Technology, and enjoys the State Council Special Allowance. Now, he is the secretary of the party committee in University of South China, the representative of the 11th and 12th People's Congress of Hunan province, the member of the standing committee of Association of Science & Technology in Hunan Province, and the Zhuzhou municipal committee member of the Communist Party of China. In addition, he is the director and chief expert of building energy conservation and Environmental Control Collaborative Innovation Center in Hunan province. He is the key academic leaders of civil engineering in Hunan province, technology leading talent of Hunan province and first-level talent of 121 Talents Project in Hunan Province. He is also the winner of the Distinguished Teacher Prizes in Hunan province and the provincial advanced science and technology worker and outstanding young and middle-aged experts. He is the winner of the Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award in Zhuzhou province. He is the honorary president of Hengyang Refrigeration Institute. He currently is a editorial board member of the journals of the 《Architectural Ventilation and Air Conditioning Heat 》and the deputy editor of the British famous journal of《Indoor and Built Environment》.

Prof. Wang’s main research interests include building energy efficiency and the application of CFD in HVAC engineering. He has published successively more than 230 papers in 《Building and the Environment》,《International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer》and other international and domestic famous academic journals and more than 40 papers included by three major retrieval systems. He has hosted two projects of national "11th five-year plan", "12th five-year plan" science and technology support program and three projects of National Natural Science Foundation. He was the chief expert of science and technology key project in Hunan province “The key technology research of special indoor environment cleaning and industrialization of complete equipment”. More than 15 National Invention Patents and utility model patents were declared and authorized by his research team. He has won successively 12 provincial teaching and scientific research achievement awards, 3 first prize awards, 6 second prize awards.
